Painting liberates me and connects me to a calm and peaceful world. Walking in nature in silence and observing the animals and majestic landscapes make me want to go to my studio to create colorful and abstract works that reflect my vision of my world.
I particularly like to venture off the beaten path and stand out by my originality. I use acrylic paint and plaster as well as different techniques to create unique and varied works. I like to keep it simple while being in a certain complexity. This allows me to push my limits even further and gives me a sense of déjà vu that will amaze your eyes.
Now that you know a little more about me, it will allow you to better understand and feel, through my work, the universe with which I compose.
I decided to present you one of my techniques that I have been using for years. Many people compare my work to Pollock's, thinking that I am *dripping* like him, but this is not the case. I like to keep it simple so in this technique I decided to use a simple rope!
Why the rope? Because it's an everyday object that we come across every day. At birth, we are born with an umbilical cord, as children we learn to tie our shoelaces, some play with a dance rope, others play with the cord of their hoodie. We use extension cords, cell phone cords and other cords and finally some use a rope to leave us.
So I thought it would be interesting to work on a technique that doesn't require a brush or a spatula to do what others do. Of course I like to touch everything, but this technique I use it since 2018. Many people don't understand the meaning, but I wanted to explain it to you, because it means a lot to me.
